I think Woolery offers a more all round game - let’s face it, Isgrove ain’t winning many headers!

Saying that, I hope both would stay.

Would like to keep Isgrove. Not remotely bothered about Woolery, in fact slightly surprised we wanted to keep him. I suspect something similar to Anderson actually, probably offered less and the poor lad can't find anywhere else.

I like Isgrove, think he'll be better in L1 than L2 as well.

I think if we're under the cosh and looking to nick something Woolery is the better sub.  He's good in the air, defends passably and is of course fast.  It's his final touch that is rather league 2-ish.

Isgrove, on the other hand, can offer something different, especially where we are just not looking especially likely to breakdown a stubborn defence.

Both can offer quality substitute options at L1 level, imo, but Woolery would be a more solid, if frustrating starter.  Would like to keep them both based on what I've seen on the pitch.

Presume he’d be a back up at both those clubs. Surely he needs to be a regular starter to progress. L1 is certainly a step up from Ross County.

Would he be first choice here, though?

Birmingham have no keepers left on the books so he would be in contention for a 1st team spot there. Derby have a young keeper with no games as back up and the unreliable Kelle Roos as 1st choice.

Quote
Following a number of poor appearances, manager Phillip Cocu dropped Roos for Huddersfield Town loanee Ben Hamer after he conceded three goals at Fulham on 26 November 2019. He worked on his weaknesses with goalkeeping coach Shay Given and continued to play in the FA Cup. He volunteered money and time to charities during the COVID-19 pandemic in England.[49]

Still reckon Championship clubs wouldn’t countenance what is essentially a rookie keeper as first choice.

Benda wouldn’t go to the PL yet, I doubt Swansea wouldn’t want him at a rival Championship club, so get his arse back here!

I suspect Derby will feel pretty confident due to their links to filled out Frank.

That is possible it may have an influence but Chelsea have Carlo Cudicini as loan manager for the youngsters at the club and his say is final.

I thought Baxter played against Nuneaton. Hopefully that would trump the Lumpard card!

Did Wellens confirm it was actually him that played?
