So I took your approach to its logical conclusion, and found that there were 10 confidently wrong rumours (rather than just wishlist names) before the first actual subsequent signing emerged on p17 of this thread, one Kevin Amankwaah from Swansea, as revealed by... Laughable, if true.
Indeed its not as if we have ever unearthed a quality striker from non-league is it? I used to follow the Heed Army every week when I lived up there, got a scarf and everything somewhere! Edit - The Heed lad does seem to have some league 2 experience, can find nowt about the DGSFC lad, they seem to have 1 first team player at the moment, much like us! |

Bowman sounds like a target man but at 24 appears to have never scored goals in the league.
Andrew Mitchell scored loads in Norn Iron last season. Could be a mate for the Irish Messi.
