The players they had last season they should've had a top two spot (Coventry), something wasn't right there, so not too bothered if the Cov fans are divided.
I've personally not heard of this guy, but we're a run of the mill third tier football team with a small budget, we're hardly going to sign Paul Pogba.
He can't be any worse than Anton Rodgers, so he has that going for him.

Interesting that some say (on their forum) he was one of their highest earners! Some quoting eleventy billion pounds a day, cake for everyones birthday, a now tv 3 month entertainment pass and weekly blowjobs from 'Joy'. I can only imagine here it's more like 20 quid a day, a small bag of haribo for his birthday, a dvd of our promotion season and an annual handjob from Dan the Fan. |

Which, when you add Godard, is actually far, far stronger than we've been at this stage in previous years. Think we'll be pushing with a Diamond as a preference for this season: Vigs Barry Thompson JSW Boo Kasim Thomas Iandolo Goddard Obika Hylton Rodgers Brophy Smith Branco Henry Young Stewart As it stands. Would like to add at least 2 strikers, another 2 CM, another 2 CB (to allow NT to play RB). |

Oh shit, I'm thinking about it now  I've been worried watching the Euros that the likes of Wales and Italy have been playing with 3 at the back, Germany did it to match up Italy. Various pundits have been rattling on about how this is the system for progressive coaches...so Lukey is probably feeling a bit smug. You really can't play with a back 4 if your full backs are Brad Barry and Boo/Brophy. Acquiring a left back and sticking Nathan back out on the right would be an option. |

Take strength from the fact we actually have a squad under contract as of July 5 that is almost fit for purpose.
Also take heart by looking at Oldham - 10 players. 60% under 20. 0% goalkeepers.

Landonlo in the starting 11 I hope not no where near good enough. He's lightweight and not ready for a full season in L1 hopefully we will have more recruitments in yet with another striker at least and I would imagine two or three loans

Same. It's Iandolo. Also, I noted that we should add 2 more CM. Also Iandolo was a real positive in the back half of last season and should be a Goddard alternative/back-up at the point of the diamond if we add correctly. |
