I wouldn't be surprised if Kasim also goes to Wolves, especially considering there was interest from them not long ago. Could be another case of reducing the payment to Spurs from the sell-on clause, as with Gladwin and Luongo. If Kasim goes to Wolves, along with Byrne, we can be sure to hear from Power that we didn't get that much for Byrne.

we already know what the fee will be-"undisclosed"
Yeah but Power always lets it slip in the phone-ins.

"well, he only had < 12 months on the contract, so we had to cash in under market value."

I like the line about form vs. talent, which is not meant at all ironically following his career stats of about 8 goals in 80 ish games. Nice work Mrs Storey.

I thought it was a serious article till I read this bit: 'As previously stated the fact he is slightly more physically imposing now means he could also perform like Andy Williams and be the main target, should Town be hit by a severe lack or strikers due to injury.'

Ahhh that's so cute - if it's not written by a member of the Storey family, then there's some serious man love going on there!

That was my immediate thought when I read about Kasim and Iraq. This BOGOF policy might soon catch on.

Not sure I believe this business regarding over valuing Gladwin to reduce the sell on for Loungo to Spurs?
Spurs ain't daft- surely they would have disputed this valuation at the time? Either that or we could find ourselves in serious hot water

If it is the case, is there a specific regulation Town is breaking / twisting that would merit a serious punishment?

If we had said to QPR that we wanted 500k for Luongo and 2.5 million for Gladwin (or however much it was) then that's it, end of story. Scam or no scam, there's nothing anyone can do about. A player is worth however much a Club agrees to pay for him - 20k or 20 million. Spurs can dispute the valuation all they like, there is nothing they can do.
