I wonder what the current thinking is on Jon Swift?  Definitely a talent, but much to learn...
Chelsea are not adverse to loaning out shed loads of players so he should be available just depends on level they want him at. I like him but know he will frustrate many.

Yes, I was surprised at the idea of them going to Villa. I wonder if Sherwood's done Power a bit of a favour there by agreeing to act as a stalking horse to set a benchmark for the price?
You wouldn't put it past him given the evidence of the past year or so.

sam's article on the link with Southampton would suggest we might expect some talent coming in from them.  Get FM scouting.

I wouldn't mind that Hiwula kid from Man City. Scored for Walsall in the 3-3

Great for Gladwin, definitely araw talent, not too sure whether I think he's a Championship player yet, as he's inconsistent, but I'm sure he'll carry on developing.

Mass to QPR is an odd one, genuinely saw him going to a Prem club, but I'm guessing that could still happen yet.

Fods to Reading is a sensible move, local and will be pretty much guaranteed a number 1 spot.

I had a 'conversation' on Twitter with regards next season. This particular person was predicting a relegation dog fight next season, regardless of not knowing who's going to be at Swindon.. Love it.

Luongo as well then. I was hoping they wouldn't be signed together. Basically BOGOF if Luongo is worth 3.5-4m.

Breaking news: BBC Wiltshire understands Swindon Town midfielders Ben Gladwin and Massimo Luongo are set to sign for Queen's Park Rangers.
I wonder if a little of this is to bed both into the new club as a unit so they aren't alone, as both are great mates and lived together all season so that could continue.

Looks like Power will have achieved the Fitton model much more convincingly.  Still a few players left worth good money as well, not too mention who we now bring in.

Obviously resigned to the fact that they are going but how are QPR going to get away with it with the FFP fine already hanging over them

Because they are challenging it legally so the Fl can't enforce anything yet

I think we'll have some pleasant surprises this summer. Much like the money we spent on Mass + Byrne and Obika. If it's the right guy Power will spend.

A talent yes, but he thinks he is a legend in his own lifetime - not yet Jon.! Head down and learn how to work for the team.

He definately takes on one too many players when a pass is the best option, going for glory of himself not the team. But TBF I could say the same about Luongo, Gladwin and Byrne at times, the only unselfish one is Louis.

...and Agombar, allows others to take his well earned spot on the pitch..

Surely though they should be embargoed until the outcome? Totally understand them being sold but this is an odd one considering all the issues there at the moment. Just hope we get our money quick before anything goes tits up

From what I read about QPR recently they were going to off load a big chunk of their current squad due to players either being "not good enough/up for the relegation fight". They need to regroup and with the parachute payments they can obviously get new blood in without breaking the bank and £3.5M is a drop in the ocean.

Having said that the ongoing problem about their finances and not meeting the FFP rules could alter things and being a "smaller club" in the great scheme of things will probably be made an example of knowing the Football League.
