I can see what you are saying Lady, but he surely is nowhere near contention for a first team place.

So the question is, is this going to effect his ability to perform his job. We've all had the odd one-off night out that has done that.  If it's a one off then fair enough.

But if it is a regular occurance then it's a different kettle of fish. If that is the case personally I'd like him to be given the oppertunity to sort his life out and save his (post playing) career, much like Roberts was.

And the comparison with Giggs is fucking laughable. We're talking about a lower league battler at the fag end of his career, who's income and lifestyle is closer to mine than to that of a Premieship player.

Our players aren't some bunch of over privileged primadonna millionaire wasters, they're just normal blokes earning a fairly decent wage who live lives not that far removed from ours. Why the hell should we expect their standards of behaviour to be so different from ours?

I think this is brilliant news. Under the bad example that he has set since he's been here we've got promotion from div 4, and look capable of challenging in div 3. I reckon he should start using heroin, we'd be in the champions league in a few years.
