STFC says - making good progress towards first team return.

Being drunk thats fair enough, but off his face? - embarassing when others were commenting on his behaviour.

As for his "bird"..... jesus, desperate times.

Anything that discourages paying customers from showing up at the ground on a Saturday afternoon is out of order.  Players out boozing and/or being disrespectful to other people send a message of "they aren't bothering, why should I bother".  Like it or not, image and marketing are important.   Also, Luggy wants his players to live locally and be part of the community, that implies giving a good impression.

The sad part of all of this is that it appears that the gentleman in question is behaving like he has given up, or is it a case of some recreation before having to toe the line in the first team squad.  I don't think that a return to the first team squad is likely unless the injuries continue.

don't really see the problem if he's not able to play anyway to be honest.

as for his behaving like a twat, don't most of us after a few beers?

I don't want to be a hypocrite, in the past I've been banned from one or two drinking establishments in the Swindon area and have had social intercourse with one or two ladies that I shouldn't have.

I have no problem with anyone going on a bender with whomever. However, if you are associated with a local professional sports team, create a good impression or otherwise it undermines the marketing efforts of that organization.  Just like the film The Godfather, it's only business.
