As a foil type player what about Clive Platt, he could possibly play with Paynter, and he is a bit of a battering ram bringing others into play and creating space.

I'd like to see a speedy youngster here though who hasn't been given chance at a bigger club so wants to prove himself..ala Cox

Also 43 goals in 118 matches and still only 24...maybe too similar to Billy Paynter but ive always been impressed with him.....plus he played for Swinton Town FC.!

Never seen the fuss about Dickinson.

I'd like to see us get John Obika on loan. Did very well for Yeovil towards the end of last season.

He stood out when he played against us last season, but then again, we were terribly poor! He would do a job here tho

Interesting you should say that. Tottenham haven't entered the Reserve League South this season so those youngsters might be a bit short of game time.

Jon Obika, Ryan Mason, Andros Townsend - all very good attacking prospects, two of which went to Yeovil last season and did alright, the other ran the show for their ressies (although it's worth noting Jamie Slabber did the same)

Dickinson has indeed signed for Brighton.Although it's stated as an "undisclosed fee" it's
thought to be around the 300K mark.

Backing up what Stroooood just said, Ryan Mason has just signed on loan for Yeovil.

I am also reading that Crewe will not be offering RAZAK or Pook a deal.

I think Razak is on trial with Yeovil and scored last night

It's all about signing unknown foreigners with funny names when it comes to strikers. I propose we do this.
