I said something similar at the time. I thought getting rid of him was a good piece of business, albeit by the cunts that used to run us, so in real terms in wasn't good business but greed fuelled luck. |

Sounds like a very similar player to Robinson so wouldn't suprise me and with some league one experience and youth on his side, sounds like the sort of player we are after.

Surely any deal for Obika would be a loan one? The quote suggests it would be a cash signing. That would be some coup if we did manage to get him permanently. |

Spurs don't have the greatest modern history of bringing their kids through. Jamie O'Hara is the only one in recent times I can think of and he was with Arsenal originally.
I guess what I'm saying is, if we offer an adequate price - they'll sell.

Not sure its a big coup, that would be getting Sharp. I reckon the fee for Obika would be more manageable and weighted with sell ons etc, and then we get Sharp on loan for a year!
