Anybody know a couple of ‘goons’ who may fancy a short holiday in the sun in return for a little ‘work’.
Hmmm, do you really want goons? Or tradesmen? Short? How long? Work? Can you elaborate?

Some sort of issue with my old FM 2006 database has resulted in Swindon going from £2.11B in the black to £2.14B in the red. I still have a £2B transfer budget, but I must now be the most debt ridden club in the game. Despite quitting and starting numerous times, for some inexplicable reason, it always happens.

I’m sure I wanted goons - heavies, thugs, enforcers - call them what you will. The work involved applying some pressure where required. All resolved now. No breakages luckily.

Isn’t that considered lucky in greece? Don’t they throw crockery around and stuff?

It is a bit more than a mild annoyance but the other half made an awful mess of her drivers side rear door a few months ago in an argument with a wall, I was lucky enough to find a replacement door recently so I fitted it last week - fiddly but OK. This morning I walked past it and saw a dent; some twit has rammed a key into the door panel over the weekend causing a blunt dent. I am fuming.

That sounds crazy close to the 32bit interger overflow limit. Reckon a variable is ticking over the edge and wrapping round. 0x7fffffff (2147483647), 0x80000000 (-2147483648). If you spend money quicker than you make it you might be able to send it back the other way.

Actually what FB says sounds plausible, Games written in 32bit as they are were back then had an upper limit for variables which IIRC on games such as FM2006 would have been around that figure something like the £2.1b figure, I had that in the past. Although the solution of spending more will not put the negative figure back into the positive again it will just crash the game totally. Shame as its a damn good game, go back to a previous save if you have one and spend qrecklessly on players and upgrading the ground etc to get you back under the max figure.
