Vandals should have to finance the repairs imo.
Thing is you cannot just finance the repairs, there are projects people have spent 20-30 years building there plus a lot of the builders are no longer with us! FWIW a crowdfunder to help the club rebuild set up with a £500 target is now at £46k+ https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/market-deeping-mrc

GP's/NHS
Fucked my knee again playing footy last week. I've had issues with it for 10 odd years but I've just lived with it. This time, i listened to my wife and called my GP for an appointment. First available appointment is 20th June. Whats worse is when we started talking about referrals, the waiting list for an orthopedic referral is 18-24 months.

18-24 months? Really? After private physio referral to GP- For me I had a scan inside 2 months, consultant physio another month later - tried 2 x steroids didn't work (last one april) and now seeing orth surgeon in June. This was at the GWH on NHS As a non life and death issue I was quite impressed. Sorry yours isn't the same

https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/17653815.food-review-sunday-dinner-at-the-runner-in-swindon/?ref=mr&lp=1I read these with a sense of morbid fascination, like reading some of the bizarre TripAdvisor reviews you get (a real pet hate being people who moan about the prices of places they have chosen to visit - it's on the fucking menu before you order you stupid idiot, or people who moan about family places being noisy, or give a 3 star hotel a duff review and say you are better off going to xx place, when it's a 5 star hotel at three times the price!) On this one - it's quite clearly a frozen dinner - the reviewer even gives it away by the note around how quickly it came to the table. What's the point in reviewing something if you don't bother to do the job properly.

Since I was a child, I never really understood the fascination with petty vandalism. Of course at my school, like any other we had some delinquents that couldn't walk the streets without kicking a bus shelter, or pushing over a bin or whatever and I always found this behaviour kind of strange. Personally these are completely selfish people that clearly do not care about other people's property. I think a suitable punishment would be allow the victims to have access to the perpetrators nice things and either keep them, or be able to give them away to people who would appreciate them. I did originally think that it would be fair to have the contents of their bedrooms completely obliterated, but there may be less fortunate people that might appreciate a playbox for example.

The issue is there is no fear of repercussion. The police aren't a 'feared' force anymore. There is lack of respect for the law.

I was always a bit of a square at school. I think tippexing STFC on my pencil case was about as 'rebellious' as I got!
