I just set about my hair with the clippers. I usually use a #1 guard but it wasn't until I got tucked in that I realized I forgot to put any guard on.

Oops.

I number #1d the rest. Now I have a landing strip at the front of my head. It's not that noticeable to be honest. Still, I'm left wondering whether or not to no-guard the rest or just leave it as it is. It'll grow out in a few days (although I am expecting to go out on the lash tomorrow). Maybe if I pull my trousers down around my arse, walk with a limp and call everybody homey, people will think it's a gang marking?

For years i have been shaving my head with 0 guard on the clippers. Recently I've started going one further and bic-ing it. Its so smooth but after a day or two, putting t-shirts on is a real struggle.

So I've been doing car insurance quotes for what feels like an eternity this evening (after Direct Line quoted me £12 more than last year) and kept getting between £193-197 from comparison sites, so obviously not thrilled with that. Tried Aviva as they, like DL, are not on comparison sites and they've quoted me a whopping £588! WTAF is that about? Cunts.

On reflection was it worth spending your whole evening doing that for 12 quid?

People who end emails with multiple full-stops or questions marks. What the heck is that about....Huh?

Bold and smileys also get my hackles up. They really annoy me .

Actually it works quite well there. Not in an email though.

A frequently irate customer used to send emails that were mainly in bold and under lined (different colours) with a fair bit of upper case & italic work and normally accompanied by a picture of a rat.

Other than that we got on very well.

Had a similar experience when I checked them a few years back. Think they quoted me something like £3k when I was being offered about £500 elsewhere.

We're in aviva multicar and is the cheapest option. Just had the renewal through as well and has only gone up an extra £3 per month.

Silly Q IBIMR, did you go online as a new customer and get a quote from Direct Line for the quote, or rely on the renewal letter?

The former was often cheaper than the latter, and they price match themselves Smiley

I phoned them in the end when I got a more reasonable quote from elsewhere. They took the cost down to match the previous years and basically said that’s as low as they go (£172 something). I’ve no excess to pay and legal cover etc so it seemed to be the best deal. Not sure how to verify the claim that that is the lowest cost for them though. Might try a new quote with them!

I've just seen the video of him asking a guy for coke, is that the one that's causing a fuss?
