Daily Echo Sport @BmthEchoSport Close
Matt Ritchie's agent tells the Echo any potential move to #afcb is now dead, despite the player being left out of the #stfc squad tonight.

Don't think he is going anywhere and don't see any truth or reason in the rumours that he has been left out of squad. Roll on 11pm.

The club were quick to try and kill this off. Town were consistent throughout yet people still believed the Tweets of a local rag in Bournemouth over Swindon.

Everyone has a price but I am sure the club, like all of us, would rather have Swindon promoted (hopefully) and lose Ritchie for a cheaper price in the summer than cash in and lose one of our most creative players (preferably, we'd keep Ritchie if we went up).

... and welcome Coxy mk II.

Glad to see some of their fans are not exactly dancing with joy at the money being thrown about. I'd be quite uncomfortable if that were us, Munto finance should live long in the league's memory. Not to mention they must remember the state they were in what seems like about 2 weeks ago.

If it was 1.2 million, the board would have accepted it hands down. To get that much for a league 2 player would be brilliant business.

And don't forget what happened to the last Russian owner of a South Coast club....

True, obviously didn't match what our valuation of the player was so no it wasnt accepted.

League Two promotion hopefuls Crawley Town, who lost top scorer Matt Tubbs to Bournemouth this week, have signed Notts County striker Karl Hawley, 30, on loan until the end of the season.

At this point in time though we need players more than we need money.

Had a great record at Carlisle of 47 goals in 118 games, but has only scored 10 goals in 126 games since leaving.

...then maybe you could have bought some balls with it?

Finally the club has realised football is played on grass, not balance sheets.

Promotion is our goal.
