I was actualy referring to Audrey as an honourable gentleman.
One of the problems of changing governments is it always leads to a tranche of new lords being created, although interestingly David Laws has been blocked due to his expenses.
My mistake.... Yep, without getting into an argument about whether this body is needed at all....the minimum reform should a fixed number of members, then if the incoming PM wants to create say 50 newbies, then it should be 50 out the door, based on attendance, cost, efficiency, health etc. |
