We shorten the name Frederick to Fred. The Dutch much to my amusement, shorten it to Freek, pronounced 'frake', but still very funny to see at the end of an email.

www.fmylife.comHere is a quote, its full of unfortunate things that happen to other people "Today, I was on an airplane that was experiencing some turbulence. Feeling anxious, I reached over and grabbed my husband's hand for comfort. He then said, "Why are you scared of dying? You're not even pretty." FML"

I once had an email from Will Young at a well known US company, who had the email :
willy@m....... .com
And once I was sending out customer refunds at work, and the name Mr. Grimble Gromble came up. I checked and he apparently had his name changed to that by deed poll.

Stefani's wiki
"Several English clubs were rumoured to be interested in Miglioranzi after the announcement that he would leave Swindon - clubs included the Town's bitter rival Oxford United. However, Miglioranzi rejected the chance to talk to the Non-League outfit"
