Doubt it as that would be a transfer fee.
Ajose and Leeds would have to come to a mutual decision to release him from his contract.
it wouldn't be the first time a player was released but we helped it happen financially. struggling to remember who it was though, quite recently - maybe ferry or caddis.
it doesn't matter, as long as it happens.
I can't imagine they'd let him go for free knowing that there were two clubs wanting him in Coventry and Us. With the way Power does his deals I'm sure Leeds got something unofficially. Whether it's Leeds as the club or one or two guys behind the scenes

Morshead seems to think Ajose is a done deal.

Wasn't Ajose's wages the issue though rather than a fee. Where has the money suddenly come from.......................?!

Absolutely. They don't want to carry on paying him, so they'l have chucked a fat cheque his way and been pleased they're no longer paying him.

Got to love our supporters, from the Total Sport web chat..
Comment From Rosierd Have we heard all from Swindon regarding transfers ie any more surprises? Otherwise a very underwhelming transfer time for Swindon. Can't help but worry for the season.

I genuinely think some of our supporters don't seem to understand that the transfer window is open all summer and are basing their opinions purely on what happened yesterday!

Possibly into Ajose's pocket?

"Leeds had wanted the club to cover the cost of paying up his two-year contract, where he’s understood to be earning three to four times more than the average City player, with the player looking for a decent settlement on the remainder of his deal.
That put Coventry out of the running and it appears that Swindon have now stolen a march on the Sky Blues."

When I listened to Power talking on the radio last night he did seem to imply there was more to come. I had a feeling he meant Ajose but we shall see.
