Remember the last transfer window when many were freaking out until transfers were completed AFTER the window had closed?

Wasn't it Jack Stephens who came in though...

He's a traitor that proves we've got no ambition and always go for the cheap option.

ASD has been freaking out all day, fuelling the idiot fire.

Then again I suppose he is more of a fan than a journo

I think Jack may have came in the week after because the loan market opened again then, or something like that.

So basically, the impetuous, impatient, children in our midst could have another week or so in which to be trolled.

I could be troll level: Ninja if I owned a football club.

Not directed at you, but if you're sad enough to be refreshing your phone every 5 seconds like some of the dickheads I know then I quite like the idea of making them wait til 11 o clock for nothing to happen.

On the basis we were only ever going to get loans in and that window opens again soon this was always going to be a non event. We are a little light up top though. Hylton needs to prove something sharpish, they seem reluctant to give Stewart any game time so the only cover for Robert is Balmy who is hardly the answer.

This season is just a bit of a dud. I hope they have some serious plans for the summer.

September 2014, I think. It was the same thing though, people were kicking off until it was announced at about a minute to 11.

Well what a shite day. Been waiting all window for Power to pull a rabbit out the hat, was expecting something today but got Louis back - a player who we knew was probably joining anyway. A severe lack of ambition to not spend any of the money we received for the class players we had last season. Going to be a long old slog before we get a squad with that ability again

Sums up our season really. Completely underwhelming. Get safety asap, enjoy the Euro's and hopefully have a better tilt at it next season.
