Could we not just cover Khans injury with I dunno any of the midfielders that are all ready at the club like Devoy, Cain, McEachran, Aguiar or chuck in one of the U18s.
I would somewhat get it - if Khan was actually the DM we try to pretend he is and this bloke was also a DM & it was like for like & something our other midfielders didn’t offer but he isn’t
Fans spent ages moaning about no CDM since Kinsella left, I would rather see a proper CDM (probs quite cheap too) than see a lightweight midfielder in CDM for another 7 games.

Well yeah but is the new guy a DM? Which is kinda what I was getting at…

Bit Egbo esque in that he's been training with us for a while. Don't mind it, seasons dead, may as well have some effective trialists.

Yeah, all good - till he’s fire for 7 games and signs for Shrewsbury in the summer…

This is a possibility with essentially anyone in our squad though, the whole thing is built on short term thinking.

You’d imagine he’d have a similar clause too McEachran, Brewitt and Kokolo where the option is probably there too extend.

Hope i don’t see you on here moaning Aguiar, Cain etc getting bullied at CDM then. Waste of their time playing that far back.

And someone with a heart condition who hasn’t played for 3 years isn’t going to be miles off the pace and get bullied? Literally both options are as bad as each other.

Waste of their time playing that far back. of course I will, I have been all season that's the point. we have needed someone all fucking season in CDM and leave it until now. Khan couldn't tackle his way out of a wet paper bag, it's not like we have a sudden need now he's out, it's always been there our recruitment policy is fucked.

I can't help be a little bit uncomfortable with a club with essentially no medical department repeatedly taking on players with heart issues as well. Hopefully it's all fine and well managed but it's an eyebrow raiser.

Also, the insurance premiums for said players must be an absolute fortune

Perhaps they get the player/agent to pay that?
