I think Ruddock was the cause of the Liverpool decline as he was of ours.
I think in both cases the rot had started long before El GiantShorts turned up

He did take Newcastle to a second place finnish and a cup final in the late 90s.
But yes, all these Liverpool fans saying 'it can only get better' make me laugh. You sure?!

Feel sorry for Woy. Very, very good manager.
Not sure there is any need to feel sorry for him, apparently he got a £7.5m payoff. Think most people forget that when a manager gets sacked or leaves by mutual consent (ie sacked) they get their contract paid up.

Penalty awarded against them inside 35 seconds. Gerrard sent off for a two footed lunge. Same shit, different gaffer. Couldn't happen to a nicer team.

Shocking penalty decision, no way would have been sending off if Utd player. Hodgson average manager at best when working with average clubs. No way would he ever be in charge of Utd, Chelsea or Arsenal so see no reason while Liverpool fans should accept him either. Rememember Hodgsons appointment was by the outgoing Hicks & Gillette regime. Daglish hero in Liverpool fans eyes and will keep them happy until end of season until they appoint a longer term solution.

Gerrard had to go. As soon as both feet leave the ground you may as well start walking. For both incidents, i'd have been shouting for a penalty and the red card if it were Swindon, so'm not too fussed.

Didn't look to me like his feet left the ground so for me it was okay. Anyway i'd be more ashamed if I was that Mereiles for pussying out of going through Rafael.
