Oh I bet they're awfully excited.

Big gamble to appease the fanbase by appointing Dalglish.

How can you tell Roy Hodgson isn't Scouse?

He'll be looking for a job on Monday morning.

Should have kept Hodgson. 7 wins out of 20 is bad form for Liverpool but I think he would have done a good job given time.

Houllier, on the other hand, should definitely be relieved of his post. Villa are all over the shop under him.

Perhaps he'll bring Paul Dalglish in to? Give him some work experience after his poor managerial debut with Tampa Bay.

You are spot on there.

Kenny wont make a huge difference because of the shit going on there. Knee jerk reaction from a club in trouble, the board trying to win back a few of the fans by getting in a man that most Liverpool fans want as the new manager.

It's not a popular belief with Liverpool fans, but their demise from the best team in England can be traced back to Kenny Dalglish.

He took over the best team in the country, but didn't continue what Liverpool were always good at and replace players before they reached their sell by date. His team got old together & once he spotted that he walked.

People will point to a successful time at Blackburn, but remember they spent big (for the time), and he had a very good coach with him.

He will have the fans on his side, but will be interesting to see IF he can improve them.

At least they weren't mad enough to go back to Rafa (It's not my fault it's his fault) Benetez Cheesy

Dalgliesh? A manager totally out of touch with the modern game who has been out of work for years now. Oh dear. I can see them flirtling with relegation to be honest. As for Hodgson the way that jobs seem to be coming up thick and fast I can't see him being out of work long. West Ham or Villa is probably a good bet for him.
