A lorry reversing into my car at work, and driving off without leaving any information... Only for my work to instantly provide me the CCTV footage, the reg of the lorry and two witnesses to come forward straight away with their details to help me out.
Just made my life a whole lot easier!
Isn't failure to stop after an accident an offence? You know, just asking...

I have no idea!
Not interested in getting the guy in trouble, just want him (or his company) to pay for the damage.

Back to Amsterdam end of July. Its a business trip but nothing taxing so should have some time to see the sights....you know, the museums and cultural things of course.

I drive down Wootton Bassett Road a couple times a day so have notice the travelers that have parked up where the circus was. Its quite refreshing to see that they are actually keeping the area reasonably clean and from what I've heard are quite a friendly bunch.

Getting to the semis, and going out with heads held high is a decent effort.. Germany are just better at this football lark.
The final will be interesting... Spain have some serious talent + some steady players round the edges and a deep squad.
Nevertheless Der Mannschaft, can never be ruled out in a tournament
The Hun did an absolute job on Spain.... very impressive. Scary really, when you think that none of the regulars who won the 2014 WC, have been taken to the Confed Cup, being given a rest. So 7 from the U 21's who could have been in Poland have been in Russia....bit like their grandfathers.

Finally bought a slow cooker this week so naturally the first thing I'm giving a go is pulled pork. Tried it in the oven a few times but it's never been quite right. Been in since 7am and don't plan on touching it for atleast 8 hrs.

Love pulled pork.
Do it on the smoker mind, so got no tips for slow cooker cooking.
On the smoker we inject it with the marinade night before and rub wrap in cling film, (remove film!) cook up to internal temp of about 190f-195f, wrap it in foil with another marinade sauce for about an hour or two. remove. lob an old tea towel around it (still in foil) and let rest in cool box for at least an hour. pull and mix with foil marinade.
cooking usually takes about 8 hours or so depending on size. cheap Morrison's pork does the job nearly as well as a bone in job from the butchers.
the internal cook temp and resting are key to pullability.

Slow cooker pulled pork is easy.....put in pork joint, cover with any cheap full sugar cola, leave for 8 hours and serve, lovely. We have that once every couple of weeks. The other that is lovely is slow cooker lasagne...its a very different way to cook but the results are fantastic. https://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/slow-cooker-lasagna/23546794-7262-47be-9ca4-e12c900399a1
