Why?
Apart from proper legends, it's all part of the football culture to give old boys a ribbing.
I did mean Ipswich fans - they got on Sammy's back when he wasn't hitting the back of the net within a couple of matches. I'm happy for Charlie to get as much shit as our fans want to give him if he returns to play at the CG for the opposition. |

Actually on second thoughts, maybe I should have put I wonder rather than I hope, as I don't hold Charlie in much regard after his antics recently, unlike Sammy.

Expains why he missed the penalty... Not sure what that means, but fact is, I don't think I've ever seen Charlie take a good penalty. He always puts it too close to the keeper, and by the law of averages this was always going to happen sooner rather than later. [/conspiracy theory] |
