He may well be our player

Yes he is.

Agents organise moves.... no doubt JMcG's has been on the case for while... Soton is about testing players fitness, if we are to move JMcG on then providing data about his fitness, assuming it's positive would be helpful.

An alternative would be to pay him up, if the player and agent are agreeable, then he ceases to be our player.

Yes agents organise moves  ,  proving his fitness may well be helpful  , however with the aim of moving him on quickly he will be looking to do that fitness at a club he is trialling with.......

You are not the all knowing on everything!!

As someone thats been in that position before you do not want to return to a club for pre-Season when you have been told to find another club.........

Interesting to see what happens with Twine this season, I expected a lot more from him during his spell in Ireland. From reports I read he struggled with the physical side of the game, which is what seems to be the biggest thing holding him back at the moment.

I think I read somewhere that Wellens and Hunt were pleased with him getting experience and the tougher side. Hopefully he gets around 20 games with us this season and continue his development.

You speculate about unknowns. I try and stick to the known, which as it stands JMcG is still our player. Our players will be required to gather in Soton for fitness assessment, it's that simple if we find out something different then all well and good

Maybe 20 appearances off the bench, if he starts 20 games based on what I have seen of him so far I won't expect us to be chasing the top 3.
Woking in the FA cup showed just how easily bullied out of a game he could be.

Absolutely.

You surprise me Venkers, I'd have thought you'd understand in the modern game, that the club and management have a duty of care towards the players, in terms of well being and mental health issues.

JMcG has to be treated properly, not just ostracised.  TBF to Power, and maybe it's a result of his own experiences as a player, he does seem to treat his staff properly.

You do talk a load of horses shit!!

Yes he is our player however he is aware he is not wanted..

Therefore he will be given time to get a new club.....

Again as someone who has been in his position I do know how it works!

Have you?

My bad should of said I meant mostly off the bench. But also cup games, of we have any luck in them as well, I am hoping Wellens will be putting him on the weights this season.
