Seems you interpret comments to suit your own arguement

Its not that I didnt fancy going in for pre season training at all.........

The club I was with told me I was not in their plans and therefore worked with me to get a new club.....

This I imagine is what Mcglashen is doing........

But heyho you keep thinking you are the font of all knowledge.......... Zzz

What I think about my contribution to the debate has nothing to do with the substance of the debate, which is about the content of the squad.... to get this list for Horlock I simply note down the players who are presently contracted at the club, excluding the first year pros.  JMcG is presently an STFC player therefore gets on the list.

As to your feeling about pre season you say this....

Quote
As someone thats been in that position before you do not want to return to a club for pre-Season when you have been told to find another club.........

It's the do not want to return bit which suggests to me not fancying it.  Because you didn't want to return dosn't mean the same applies to JMcG.

Until such time we hear that JMcG has a new club, is training with a new club or been paid up, it should be assumed that he's still being treated like any STFC player.

Obika us tainted.

It's not so much that he played for them, but he left us after relegation to go and play for them.

That, and he's a sick note.
I made it up, tbh. Trying to deflect the ongoing spat back to rumours.

Epic fail

Anyway back to rumours...

Seems Bradford , Plymouth and as Expected Salford are linked to virtually every free agent in L1 and L2....

Can see us getting 2 forwards in this week....

But dont think it will be any names that have been thrown around on social media.......

For me would like to see 1 from Danny Rowe of Fylde  and Kabongo Tshimanga of Oxford City

And an experienced L1/L2 Striker

Do we really need another midfielder as a priority? an inexperienced one at that.

The Matt Stevens link has been haning around for a couple of weeks now, hes not really the big bustling stiker or the goal poacher we really need, you never know though.

As for Obika...I would have a fit Obika back, but hes not and hes played for the filth since leaving...no thanks.

I mentioned both of these a few weeks back.

If you look at Nation/South/North level all of these would fit the criteria of being under 25 and all 20+ scorers (in all competitions) this season.

The following is League goals.

Jamie Reid - Torquay aged 24 and 28 goals
Kabongo Tshimanga - Oxford City aged 21 and 22 goals
Kurt Willoughby - FC United aged 21 and 17 goals
Tyler Harvey - Truro aged 23 and 18 goals
Paul McCallum - Eastleigh aged 25 and 25 goals
Macauley Bonne - Leyton Orient aged 23 and 23 goals
Daniel Udoh - telford aged 22 and 19 goal

All young and with decent scoring records in lower leagues.

Yes I know Hylton had a good record but TBH he was never given a decent run in the side anyway.

Which makes me wonder why teams have not taken a punt on Danny Rowe of Fylde yet.

169 goals in 4 seasons, 26 goals this season with just 3 of them being penalties.

I can only think that at 30 he is considered too old by many clubs.

Fylde did have several offers the last couple of windows but set his asking price so high so no-one would bid , I believe the ower stated bids starting at 1M would be 'considered'

TBF they don't need to seel him, £1m would be utterly ridiculous. Cheltenham had a bid of £100k turned down last year which would be about his market value IMO.

I think they knew his contract was due to expire June 2019 and so were trying to hold onto him as long as possible......

Was wondering how long that'd take. The source account on Twitter is a bot. Randomly generates players and clubs.
