Does the toast come out too white, too black, or just right?
On the back of this the dial on our toaster goes up to 8, we have it on 3 and if you move to 4 it cremates the toast. Why does it go up to 8 what would you want that for. |

Perhaps if you set it to maximum it creates some sort of toast singularity |

Maybe it's for quick toast, but you have to manually pop it up after 20 seconds  |

Home now but need to shower.
Quick question, apparently there is a defrost function and I was wondering would it be feasible to defrost say a couple of chicken breasts?
Clearly something sizeable like a leg of lamb is out of the question.

While we are on toasters its a hot topic in chez Horlock07 at the moment.
When the old faithful 4 slicer died last year the wife said that we had to get a two slicer as I was eating too much toast.
However now horlock07 junior has rolled up and likes a but of toast and marmite for breakfast it means that breakfast toast is a three rounder!
She now wants a replacement but it's rare I get an I told you so moment...

I went for the 4 slice knowing my missus would complain that its too big, but I had in reserve the argument that the eldest is 11 now and she'll be eating 2 slices at a time soon so it just makes sense as they grow older.
Argument won.
