Mourinho's only intention was not to lose. Winning was a coincidence.

I don't think there's anything wrong with that really and Chelsea played very well, apart from Demba Ba who is a comedy footballer. It's just dull to watch and I'm glad I don't support Chelsea. Or Liverpool. They were shit today.

Masterclass of tactics. Why would Chelsea play for a draw, there is literally no point in that in their position n

Exactly. You frustate the opposition, and wait for the mistakes. On the second goal, there were two Chelsea players clear...but where were the Liverpool defence chasing back. The title could be decided by goal diff.

Of course, no-one complained last week when Sunderland did exactly that to Chelsea, and took the 3 points.

Liverpool blow the opposition away when you try and take the game to them. I can see what sonic means in that Chelsea didn't really attack them,  but think they'd have had a go in the second half if they weren't already winning.

Bang on. Very good game plan, frustrated Liverpool and played on Gerrard's, in particular, psychological flaws.

Liverpool played far too desperately, bless them. It was like watching 49 minutes of injury time.

I expect teams to go out and try and win, regardless...

Missing out on glasto tickets this morning.

First time in 6 years I haven't got a ticket, gutted. Relying on competitions and tapping people up to go now....Might start getting friendly with saxondale.

Cirencester's Greasy Joes closing its doors tomorrow. Although the opening hours have been scaled back in recently, this once staple of post pub/club greasy spoon food used to open 24/7 364 days a year and started off as a converted mobile home getting on for 40 years ago (or maybe more).

Enjoy retirement Lloyd. The legend of the murder burger will live on in us.
