The people on social media today moaning about other people today. Today is a bonus bank holiday to allow those who wish to watch the funeral to be able to do so and I was glad to be able to do so for a couple of hours at lunchtime with family. However I didn’t feel the need to rant on social media because Bryan next door went out on his motorbike or the bloke opposite was mowing his lawn during the funeral as I respect it’s everyone’s right to do as they please. I was happy to spend an extra day with the family but I’m also saddened that some people actually believe that anything other than watching the funeral is ‘disrespectful’.

Didn’t plan to watch it but I did and glad I did so.
Found the service in the chapel in Windsor very emotional - surprisingly.
Made me realise that all the shit that floats around us isn’t worth getting worked up about.
To anyone I’ve pissed off on here, I apologise.

Im just returning from 7 days working at the event. Not a royalist by any means, but as a professional in an industry deemed 'not viable' during the pandemic Im proud of what we've pulled together in the space on 10 days. When I arrived last Saturday we were working out of backpacks, by Tuesday we had a full control and production village in place.
Whilst the media fixate on the police and army, the events industry were the ones glueing it together.

Spot on comments, I watched the funeral & procession etc and found it very moving, emotional and appreciative of all that's good in the UK

I make no apologies for being a conservative, sometimes with a very small c sometimes with a capitol c, a royalist even though they royals have never met me and a firm believer in GB PLC. In essence there is no one thing the defines this unique union made up of four wonderful countries.
Watching the fitting send off and celebration of our late Queen Elizabeth II made me so proud of our United Kingdom. I had tears in my eyes, yep, real tears, which did surprise me but there you are.

Spent yesterday in the crowd on The Long Walk and it was worth every minute of the wait.
No one does pomp and ceremony quite like we do and shr got the send off she deserved.
