Do away goals count as double?

Nope.

Alberto Comazzi close to leaving with a severance package. Style of football not suiting him.

I think that's what he said.

Not a huge surprise, but what style of football would suit him, glacially slow?

Yes. AKA Italian football.

He said he could play in Italy at this level and above but this level in England is "boom boom boom". TBH I kinda agree.

I like the spin that he didn't sign shit players, just players not suited to this level.

Just back from the game. Not a great performance really. Apparently the commentators were very kind to Magera - I thought he was poor. Didn't win headers, didn't make good runs... He showed a few nice touches, and was involved in the move which sent Ferry free, but on the whole he was disappointing. I would have had Connell on much sooner to be honest.

In fact, the whole team were just a little below par tonight. Mistakes at the back that we haven't been seeing lately, not much joy down the wings, forwards not holding it up, and the midfield going missing from time to time. Still, probably best to put it down to a bit of fatigue and one of those days, and look ahead to the second leg. With a full team firing on all cylinders we will beat them.

Oh, and I should also say, fantastic support fromt he town fans. Great numbers, a lot of noise, a few funny new chants (responding to "You're Welsh and you know you are" with "You're French and you know you are" was a personal favourite) and generally a lot of support for the lads. Let's hope we can get a big crowd in for the 2nd leg!

Ditto to the above, I would like to add fair play to barnet, they pressed us all game and disrupted our normal way of playing, no way will they finish bottom half if they keep playing like that. Would aslo like to say to any Barnet fans looking at this, good luck to danny Senda. Looked innocuous at first, but soon became clear he was in trouble, hope it's not a career ending injury.

Not the first time he's gone down like that against us... happened in front of the Town End a few years ago and looked nasty. Hope he recovers quickly.

I didn't think Magera was any worse than anyone else. Murray sbowed very little. Hopefully the time on the pitch will do them both good. Unlike some, they need more, not fewer games.

And as for Senda, I remember watching him years ago at Wycombe and he was superb. Surprised he didn't go further in the game. Best of luck to him.
