I don't want to work at all.
I must confess that doing this for the next 20 odd years fills me with little joy!

Was lucky enough to take redundancy last year. Have no intention of working again. Was going to.pack it in this April anyway.

The retirement light is getting brighter for me, bit like a distant lighthouse.

I might be imagining it, but I swear the amount of dogshit I have to swerve to avoid is getting worse. It was bad in London and is equally bad in Northants. Are people getting lazier/more arrogant with not cleaning up after their animals?

Or are there just more dogs? Been a huge lockdown boom.

More dogshit on the ground is down to less people picking it up. Simple.

That may very well be the case, but surely owning a dog means that you are legally(?) bound to pick up its dogshit? Regardless of however many dogs there are, the dogshit element is entirely up to the owner and if they are not cleaning up it has to be down to their laziness or arrogance surely?

So what can dogs do? Dogs can guard, rescue, hunt, herd, guide, fetch things, hear for people, smell for numerous things including diseases, help maintain law & order, take people for walks. Dogs have explored space. Dogs have won talent national competitions aimed mainly at humans. Do dog owners ever notice that knowing look & sly doggy grin when fumbling around in the pockets for the poop bag and the gloves.

It's the dog shit bags thrown into bushes and hung off branches etc which gets me. Leave it to decompose over picking it up and leaving it in a bag which doesn't if you can't be arsed to be considerate.
Cleaning up after my dog never bothered me. It was like you do after your kids. You love them. Well at least I did.

Or even just people who pick up the turd and putting it in a dog bag, only to the drop the bag IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BLOODY PAVEMENT.
Yet 100yds along the road is a public bin. I've never understood why anyone would go to the "effort" of bagging a turd to then drop it elsewhere. If anything, I would always at the very least get the dump off the pavement and into some sedge/ditch. Basically where less people are likely to be walking/jogging/riding etc. Can't beat the "stick n flick" method when without a jobby bag.

"Mildly annoy" doesn't cover this. Someone sent me this video because they thought I'd enjoy it. I know a lot of these people, I grew up with them, they're running the city and the country, and I can't tell you how badly this sets me off. They're almost entirely why I'm football not rugby, punk not prog, left not right. I could write an essay on everything I hate about this.
Ahem, as you were. Just me then?
