What's his likely sentence? And how will this effect his election chances. Ordinarily you'd imagine it would be kyboshed, but this is America, which is far from ordinary.

I believe the type of Felony has a low maximum sentence, if jail time is on the cards.  More likely he gets some sort of Community Service or parole.
