I
At the end of the day regardless if they just travelled to Pikeyville for a fight, they were still STFC fans (if you can call them that) and still give us a bad name.

Ok Lets just say I dont think gloryfying and having a laugh at Football Violence is a good thing  and some of the comments maybe only tongue n cheek can be read totally the wrong way and give a bad impression of this site.

ie Burberry wearing ****  etc

So what - people had a few drinks but all I am saying is that the people I saw fighting are Not people posting on here.

I think he was talking about people revelling in what happened, and to be fair I think he has a point.

To be honest Narbs there are 2 very different topics on this thread that dont mix well together I see your point there..

This  mock compassion,if you or any other member of this board came on here and said one of your friends or relatives had died I would probably reply to your post with a bit of compassion because I feel linked to you through this board/football.I would feel a bit sad because you feel a bit sad.But to pretend to be shocked and gutted just because a footballer died and then have loads of near tearfull replies for some guy that you have never seen is just a bit fake for my liking.

As for the hooligan element that this board seems to attract like  stfclady and Sonicyouth it sickens me to my very core.Clearly they are reveling in Saturdays events and between you and me im pretty sure I saw Stfclady bite the head off a baby.To be fair it was quite exciting and something that these guys probably havent seen much of so their reactions can be excused.

Is 'burberry wearing chavs' in relation to fans, the new catchphrase for people who really dont know what they are on about?

Don't think Lady and Sonic are hooligans.  A very few on here get over excited, and you get the likes of dave posting 'hooliganism is skill' because he got escourted from one pub to another.  That and the whole giving wanker signs and charging around like you're actually going to do something lacks a little class if you ask me.  Maybe I'm just old before my time.

Just something that gripes me, and just an opinion.

Yeovil's point is just in my opinion. But that is just opinion. It gripes me as much as people getting angry on someone elses behalf, like the Iffy/Atkinson thing

Yeovil was right in everything he said.

I simply dont care that this bloke is dead as I have no connection to him whatsoever. If that makes me a heartless cunt so be it.

I've got my own issues and everyday problems to deal with rather than feeling sad about someone I dont know being dead. As Yeovil said, people die all the time, and frankly I find the fake mourning much more offensive than someone saying they dont care.

We'll probabbly have a minutes silence for him on saturday. dont get me started on that :x  :x  :x
