Yes but one of the main reasons for him going to city was the fact (as someone pointed out earlier) his dad is his agent and Im pretty sure from the information we got that it was a major factor.

At the end of the day if he comes back and doesnt do what he should be then hes an idiot because he would have blown his chances (IMO) of league one football.

He only started playing when after a new contract

He said he wanted to stay, he didnt
He said he wanted 2 years, we got rid of players so we could offer him 2 years, he didnt sign it

He's a cunt of the highest order, I'd personally like to see him rot at City.

Should have stayed with first team football, you money grabbing scabby cunt, now fuck to somewhere really shit like Halifax

*Stands and applauds this post*

His goals last year will be like Fallon this year, a one-off.

Spot on that chief.

Gurney I can accept within reason not so much a step backwards more a necessary step to the right.

Duke love him or hate him gave Smith a hell of a lot of cover last season to roam forward and get forward and I really can’t see Brown (not that I’ve seen him for us yet) or young Nicolau providing that sort of cover.

He looked well out of condition against Shitty at least a couple of stones on board and I don’t think we can afford to wait for him to get into condition in the hope he can replicate last seasons form.

Plus I think this snippet from old Iffy says it all really…

Quote
"Grant's is a name that has come up before, but it's a question of whether he's right for what we are trying to do now. Obviously he has a past connection with the club and I know him from then, but that is not a reason to sign him alone.

"It is always a case of if they are the kind of players who would improve on what we have got." Asked what he was looking for in his potential new signings, Onuora added: "They have to have the right character.

"We have done well with the players with have during a difficult period, so those who come in will have to have a similar spirit.

"They need to be people who are not strangers to hard graft, because that is what we need at the moment.

There's a difference between battling and recklessness. What you get with Gurney is needless bookings and unnecessary free kicks. This seems to be a common misconception that running around like a headless twat kicking people is "battling".Scott Leitch was a"battler"with half the disciplinary record of Gurney.Thats my opinion anyway

I couldnt care if he picked up a booking here and there as he's the only player getting stuck in.

Adje, I know you dont like Gurney, but am I right in thinking you have seen very little of him since he has been back.

He is a new player, it sounds really ghey but he is so different from the previous Gurney its un-true

I just hope it isnt his effort to win a contract, then when he gets it its all down hill.

As for Cunt Smith, Id welcome him with open arms, then kick him really hard in the nuts. Fucking cunt.

We were the first club to give him a run of first team games, we offered him everything he wanted and he still fucked off.

Someone said he was thinking of his footballer career, he was thinking of his wallet the stupid jock cunt, he would have been better off here.

Oh well, the conference calls twat!
