The thing is i can understand why he wanted to leave,more money longer contract,bit of a no brainer really.But to shitty our nearest rivals :x [in this league anyway-he he the pox ]. I think this was on thisis, a few days ago......its much snappier over there I'd deffo have Snif back like a shot....last season we won a handful of games in the second half of the season due to his goals scored from midfield...that's the very thing we miss.....total contribution this season after 26 games from all our midfield .....a big zilch. Could be the difference between winning those 8 or 9 from 20 we're going to need, and relegation. |

Im also in two minds. But think of it this way... if he does come back he will ahve to work twice as hard to win the fans back over, which could be a good thing ie improved performances, commitment etc. But then again I could be wrong!!!!  |

If we judged whether the whole team was nice or not to decide whether to keep them on etc. Im pretty sure that we would have a significantly smaller team. If hes prepared to come back, work damn hard and take the grief hes bound to get from a lot of fans then what have we got to lose? Reg is spot on to be fair. |

although stef is a lovely bloke (:fag:) and also one of our best players.
if smith did come back, worked hard and was apologetic for being a total cunt then i might be able to accept him back. however i don't believe he has the attitude to do that so it'd be a waste of time to try.
