as per usual sonic is correct, smith can fuck right off.
"gurneys feeble attempts"
GURNS ACTUALLY GIVES A FUCK FOR GODS SAKE! HE'S PASSIONATE AND TBH I'D RATHER SEE US GO DOWN WITH 10 GURNS ON THE FIELD THAN WATCH THAT SCOTCH CUNT WALTZ BACK INTO TOWN If you're happy watching Gurney fair play to you. I'd much rather watch a footballer like Smith play for us than a thug like Gurney. The bloke was a disgrace against Swansea, just glad he mistimed his shit tackle after his shit corner during his utterly shit performance. Could even win a midfield header against himself at one stage.

Fuck off, Gurns can be a decent player, wasnt THAT bad vs swansea least he shows a bit of fight in the midfield, whats wrong with a crunching tackle ffs!!
As for Smith, not completely sure but would prob welcome him back due to the fact we need bodies and goals!!

If smith came back I would be half and half. He was a back stabber with the whole move to city thing, but footballers come and go don't they and he was thinking about his career just like any other footballer does.
He's not a bad player and he may come back and really help us, especially now quite a few of our loanees have gone. If iffy decides to bring him back- give the guy a chance. We are at the bottom of the table, we need to take chances and see what happens.

Sonic - bit shortsighted perhaps ?
As I remember he won a lot of balls in the middle of midfield - can also play out wide AND scored 10 goals from midfield in half a season.....
Sounds like just the sort of player we need.......
Although that first interview would be fucking funny !! he won a lot of balls in midfield, but that was in comparison to hewlett. i'm not convinced that he'd reproduce the sort of form he showed last season, you have to remember that he was fairly indifferent on the rare occasions he was picked until his contract was due for renewal and he got a run in the side. if he sacked his old man as agent i might reconsider.

Sonic "if he sacked his old man as agent i might reconsider"
I like that idea.
And Gurney was that bad against Swansea, he was completely anonymous in the second half.

No way total cunt. I'd rather have Igoe, howard, Mooney, Heywood, Duke or Hewlett back easy. Serves the prick right that he's not playing.

i'd be very VERY surprised if he came back! typical WDP bullshit.
smith wasn't that good anyway, like others have said he only played well when he knew his contract was running out. he's shown at all his other clubs he's not very consistant. he had a lucky 6 months with us thats all.
i'd rather see the likes of nicolau & stroud given a game before he came back.

I'm in two minds but would not mind seeing him come back. Somebody mentioned that he can play on the wing. They were wrong. But he can take free-kicks and did score goals for us and in our position we can't pick and choose. If he does sign I will not be as fond of him as I was before but he would be welcome if he brought something to the team.

Should have stayed with first team football, you money grabbing scabby cunt
On reflection i think i agree with this comment from DV I have no sympathy for the bloke, i know he's a football player and has to think about his future, but his leaving for shitty smarted a bit at the time and i enjoy the fact that he's spent most of his time on shittys bench.
