southampton reject compensation from pompey and redknapp taken off pompeys shortlist

if redknapp's quit southampton how come portsmouth have to pay compensation? also as kingy is still technically employed by us does anyone have to pay compensation to us if they want him as manager?

If i was a portsmouth fan i would be spitting feathers at the thought of Redknapp coming back, even though you could argue he has done a bit of a number on southampton.

Redknapp's a good manager, he knows a good player when he sees one. If anyone can save Portsmouth it's him.

He signed my chip wrapper when we played West Ham in a friendly. Nice bloke, top manager.
