Great stuff.

Leaves to local rivals gets them relegated returns to original club leaving a Rugby coach in charge.

If thats not a cunning plan then I dont know what is.

Redknapp will keep pompey up. An old cliche but I think they are too good to go down!

A saints fan I know has sworn for some time that Redknapp is a pompey infiltrater tasked with stuffing Southampton up.

If Woodward gets the job I wonder how much respect he will command? Big risk in my book

reports suggest that Redknapp has resigned as Southampton manager. Definately Pompey bound then!

Getting Clive Woodward on board always meant the long term future of Rednapp was in doubt. Many around here got the feeling that if Rednapp couldn't keep Southampton up in the Premiership, he would be off before too long.

I really don't know if he will go back, but the reports strongely suggest he will. My feeling is that his departure has been imminent after a mediocre league performance. Maybe Portsmouth have gotten wind of it...I don't know. Maybe Harry is going back to spite Lowe.

When I first heard about it I thought there was no chance he would go back, but now it's looking almost certain
I think he might wait for other offers though.

I think they will stick with the same set up as they had with Rednapp. So they will look to get someone in.
