What with this forum becoming increasingly metrosexual, I thought it was high time to post some cooking tips - I'm about to embark on making an omlette. What the fuck do I do? I've broken three eggs and can't stomach three fried ones so thought of an omlette. I've got some cheese to put in it? And some BBQ sauce. Fire away! I want to eat it with The Simpsons so hurry!

What with this forum becoming increasingly metrosexual Not sure what that means but it sounds :fag: Strikes me that this forum has a large number of unreconstructed lads, who are less than in touch with their feminine side. Get a fork and beat the eggs, put a splash of milk and beat it bung in more or less anything else thats around and leftover, fry it up bung some herbs in the eggs. Wack the grill on, fry the egg mixture for a bit, then wack it under the grill to finish.

So what's the difference between an omelette and scrambled eggs?
Are scrambled eggs actually a mashed up Omelette?

Are scrambled eggs actually a mashed up Omelette? More or less. I've spent many years trying to replicate a good Spanish Omlette, or tortilla, which without doubt is the finest there is. just can't seem to get it right though.

Takes a long time to do a tortilla Reg, at least half an hour. They are lush though.
I reckon milk is better than water, also you should noty cook the omlette fully, but when nearly ready fold it onto the plate so that the inside is gooey. Top.

So have you managed to do one that is remotely like a Spanish effort, I've followed recipes and sort of end up with a fried potato and onion omlette, OK but lacking that Iberian something.
