This injury is a worry, as it seems relatively minor, but is going on too long.

He's still  young for a keeper, and may come back stronger as a result,  although he's had his moments in trhe past I think we've missed him.

Heaton has done OK,  but its probably no coincidence that we've only won the one game since Evans was injured.

Bulman made a couple of excellent saves v Salisbury in probably the last game he played....certainly seems to be improving.

I've met Rhys a few times and think he's a decent down to earth fella.  When the others were pissed up idiots in Longs the other week Rhys looked embarassed to be asscoiated with them, I think he's just a bit more grown up than some of his team mates, not stuck up at all.

Rhys is just a true pro .. focused on making it to the top

Latest news is after his week in Lillleshall his leg is feelin much better and hes earmarked Peterboro game in LDV as a comeback but is making sure he is 100 percent b4 attempting full training this time.

To be fair Heaton has done brilliantly - one major error aside .. but Rhys IS the better keeper .. trust me Wink

I prefer Heaton, but when he goes, Evans is a more than capable replacement.

Agree with Jan about his degree of professionalism too.  He's always on water or has an occasional glass of wine the evenings i've seen him.  A credit to himself and the club.

Evans is also one of the only 'younger' players with a steady girlfriend and a child....

Although, I do think Heaton is a better keeper and the backline has looked more solid with him in it. Future England Number 1!!

Id look at signing Heaton for sure ... especially as more than likely Evans will be looking to move on in the summer

No chance of signing Heaton Utd aren't going to let him go, he has potential to do very very well I reckon.

United would be fools to let him go, esp seen as Van Der Sarr is getting on a bit and Tim Howard is cack. Watford fans dont think much of Ben Foster either. He'll go onto better things that Swindon thats for sure.
