As that but with CCP for Ifil, unless he feels abbott needs 'special attention', ie Jerel getting sent off again

That midfield would be suicide away from home, to a club up the top.

Drop Pook.  Gurney and Whalley in the centre for me.

I'd even play Comyn Platt ahead of Ifil as Jerel needs a kick up the arse.

If smith's fit play him left mid, and Bouazza up front with Robbo, if not, put him out wide and play Thorpe up top.

would be surprised if he doesn't stick with 4-5-1. away to top side he'll want to keep it tight.

i reckon:

------------------heaton----------------------

--jenkins---ohanlon---ifil------nicholas----

shakes--pook--gurney--whalley--bouazza

------------------roberts----------------------

subs: bulman, heath, comyn-platt, thorpe, collins/wells/someone else

would like to see comyn-platt in place of ifil, but like mattbotslim said, ifil will probably be given a job on abbott.

It's effectivelt the same formation played in recent weeks but with fallon out and roberts up front, it has recently worked more like a 4-3-2-1 formation, provided the winger/forwards support up front and midfield, ensuring the loan striker isn't isolated in attack and the full backs get enough support to cover overlapping attackers.

Personally I think 1 up top is a shit formation.  Why aren't we just going for it.  We've got nothing to lose.  In five away games playing that formation we'll be lucky to get two draws.  If we turned up and played attacking footie and took the games to the opponants we'd have more of a chance of a victory or two.  We are not as bad a team in comparison with others in this league as we imagine.

Fucking grow a couple of balls Iffy and lets play some football.

Attack!! Attack !! Attack Attack Attack!!

The thought of the chavmeister up front on his own, is quite something, I'm better in the air than what he is, and the array of postures and pouts would be a sight  to behold as another aimless hoof gets headed back.

I agree with that Reg, maybe we could sub him off at half time and play Thorpe up there instead, he'd erm, do a lot better   Wink

see what happens when we don't have Fallon...(don't hit me jan!) least he gives us options. unlike Thorpe...who doesn't give us any option but to just sit on the bench and pray no one gets injured!

Just been talking to a mate who was telling me about his West Ham supporting mate.  The season they went down they played shit, defensive football, real crap to watch.  He said this season the team turn up take the game to whoever they're playin, they win some an dlose some, but the fans are loving apparentely.

If we're gonna go down, I'd rather we did it playing like we did in the last half hour against 5th in the table Scunthorpe than playing defensive shit.

Fortune favours 'em!!
