Too true. The Lithuanian bloke wanted to handle club transfers himself, so the only thing was the timing of it

Complete confusion about the club. Today was very muted, Dunfermline were one of the worst teams I have ever seen in my life so Hearts didn't really need a manager today. Nobody has a clue what is going on, although it seems Vladimir Romanov is becoming VERY influential at the club. The fans were singing 'One George Burley' today which I wasn't too keen on. Next few days are crutial for the club.

we've been to Aberdeen, we hate the Hibs, they make us spew up, so make some noise, the gorgie boys, for Hearts in Europe.

he turned down the job when Burley took it in the summer because of personal reasons. i think it's a done deal now. he said in his newspaper column that he is definatly interested and their chairman was impressed with his attitude when he was interviewed in the summer

I've heard two rumours:
1. Burley has a massive drink problem and turned up pissed on Saturday
2. He was having it away with one of the directors missus'
