Why the fuck does everybody who gets disagreed with state "oh you cant have a fucking opinon on here" what utter fucking bollocks.

Grow a fucking pair and realise not eveyone agrees with your opinion and that your opinion matter no more than anyone elses.

Stop fucking whinging or fuck the fuck off and realise this is a forum, your opinion matters to you not really anyone else.

I believe the recent mention of ‘can’t have an opinion’ is down to comments made by Holloway in previous interviews about fans not knowing full details of the inner workings so why should they have an opinion and it’s not down to any issues within the forum

To be fair, JJ isn't as spritely as he used to be but could probably still do a job at CB.
I am game.

Is this the earliest appearance ever of the "season over" comments? Come on ,it's L2 the eventual champions, whoever they are, are going to have shit games like that.
Macari season in 84 we had 2 wins in the first 8 league games and still won at a canter with a record points haul.

This is L2 the standard is shit, we just need a run of results which could happen, I am not writing off the season based on a couple of indifferent/poor performances.

If the Smith ACL is true, you really have to question why the physio (whoever it is this week…..) let him walk back around the pitch…

Undoubtedly painful, but does that make it worse?

I think there are signs we could be a decent side this season but there is definitely something troubling.

I'm not writing off the season, but it's the lack of signs that worry me! We obviously all see it differently.

My reasoning:
The Oldham 20 minutes was good, and we looked untroubled most of the half. But I still feel we don't have control of the ball in midfield. I don't mean 80% possession but I guess it's what has been said a lot before - no pattern and poor retention.

I think the defense isn't terrible but it can't defend set pieces.

We actually put two or three good moves together last night.

But it's all too fleeting and I've not noticed any improvement.

However this is Game 4 of 46 and as we saw last season, there's loads of time after Christmas to make up a lot of ground.

Far too early!!

Another five games and we might of crept in playoffs last season.

I call it end of November....reasonable predictions then.

The signs for me are that I think the squad is capable, although it is definitely lacking something in the middle of the park and in leadership in the backline, but the way it is being used has so far been a huge red flag.

A squad of capable players means sweet FA though if the tactics being forced upon them completely negate the skillset it offers.  Unfortunately that's where we're at currently in my opinion.

I blame the tactics for where we are right now and the performances. Opposition teams know we are going to go all out air assault using smith and setup as such. When it does not work (because the other team have practiced it to death all week) we then don’t have plan B and C up our sleeve. I can’t remember but when we had the real good 20 min against Oldham we didn’t hoof it up to smith (maybe I am wrong) we had element of surprise.

Had Smith not got injured I feel we would have seen the same sat, but now the opposition won’t have a clue how we will setup (just like none of us will), so might play into our advantage. The criminal thing would be to play Drinan in the smith role knowing he is not as good in that role as that is how the other team will be expecting us to play. Problem is will we have enough time to practice other ways of play, or will Holloway want to adapt?

I am not writing off a season just yet, but there are some things going on behind the scenes that are not bonding the team in my view. We have ameen, Tabor and Prince all hyped to death, then we play to smith week in week out with other players bit parts. We need these players interested and hungry, but if they are playing second fiddle they are going to get dis interested rather quickly.

I've had a chance to calm down but last night was up there as one of the worst performances I've seen since the early weeks of Holloway's reign. I think the only game where we looked less likely to score was the Bradford one.

By passed midfield entirely and when Smith did win a hoof ball there was nobody near him for the 2nd ball. None of the midfielders won their battles, even when Kilkenny came on he looked weak against them.
They had acres of space through the middle of the pitch time and again. Frankly it's only because they were so shit that we got to 85 minutes before conceding.

The only positive were the 2 absolutely beautiful long passes from left back to the right wing. They were stunning, it's just a shame they then lead to fuck all.

Made me laugh that this is your reaction having calmed down  Cheesy all valid points though!

We were taking about that on the way back to the car. Need a ratter to get in and amongst the flick ons. But we play 3 and two either side are normally too far away

I thought Nicholls would be that type of player, picking up the bits and pieces but he's another player IH has decided to play way out of position.

One thing pissed me off more than anything.
It wasn't 5 minutes. It was very nearly 8 minutes that we played with 10 men. Fucking amateurs.
