Holloway came over at the end & doffed his cap to us which was appreciated.
The sense of togetherness of staff & squad was very apparent.

I've gradually changed my opinion of Holloway to the positive.

Never thought that we'd get maximum points from these 4 six pointer games.

Best part is that the fans of those teams didn't think that we were very good as far as I can tell.

It's music to these cloth ears.
How many times have we been on the receiving end of teams just getting the basics right with a bit of structure & organisation.

Great credit to the players for being receptive & taking it all on board.

Another 6 to 8 points should be enough to 100% guarantee safety then just keep going if they can.

Bycroft's dive about 1:30 in.

That dive from their player when he got sent off was comical.

What not to do when you're bottom of the league and struggling. Embarassing.

It’s a pipe dream - you might get Holloway but you won’t get new owners. Morfuni will only sell when he’s got something to sell I.e some success.
If he carries on like this, in not much time at all he's going to be owed more money than any uplift a bit of success will add.

If he's legit he'll run out of money plugging our losses anyway.

If he's getting the cash elsewhere then  IDK what happens.

I was like that with Steve McMahon couldn’t stand the bloke

Fuck me Holloway might not be everyone's cup of tea but comparing him to muckmahon because of a few bad jokes is beyond harsh.

We end up like Colchester when the director loans are double the value of the club, the only way to go then is Morfuni writes off the loans (not going to happen), he stays the owner until he dies, the club goes bust or he takes less money than he’s (allegedly) put in

Still on a high, probably didn't deserve the size of that win but we have been fucked over so many time earlier in the season I will happily take it.

Carlisle passed well, created chances but defensively looked awful.

But, for me, the 2 biggest differences were confidence (when you are down you really are down) and the standard of our finishing, Carlisle could have won with better quality in front of goal, or even done a Wrexham and drew 5-5 with us if they had quality up top.

Either way it matters not, we must consider ourselves safe from the drop now and hopefully keep this winning run up, 4 on the bounce is not to be sniffed at, ever.

FWIW I have always liked Holloways approach, he deflects pressure from the players when they need it and he is a motivator, we have missed that since Wellens.

My only issue I have had with him, (other than him being nutty as a fruitcake) is the way he had a go at our fans at Bradford when he blatantly got tactics wrong in that game, I felt he should have apologised to the travelling faithful, apparently a few people have spoken to him about that and its been no looking back since then.

Keep it up Ollie, keep attacking even when we are leading late in games and bringing on attacking options with pace like Glatzel and Tshimanga when defences tire.

Love it.

Thanks Mate 🤣🍺
Clear head this Morning.
I changed trains at Wolverhampton going up and coming home. Didn’t realise until yesterday that Wolves were playing Villa. Station rammed on way back and had some time to kill.

Poor Wolves fan, pissed up had walked into a sign.
He had a perfect straight cut from one side of his forehead to the other. My first aid skills are non existent 🤣
His head will be worse than mine. Winners and Losers.
(Serves him right for that semi final robbery. Now you know what Alan Mayes felt like) ⚽️🤣

Things have definitely turned around and who’d have thought Ollie would be bowing to the fans and thumping the badge a couple of months ago. Maybe it’s time to offer him a longer contract before other clubs show interest.

Leave the manager of the month out of it as that’s always a kiss of death😁

So is any manager signing a new contract early into their career with a new club!

Depends if the owner offers him what he wants.
