You’re not off the hook though Morfuni. This is happening despite you. ClemItsTime.
I’d take Holloway under new owners next season.
That is the dream right now. If we get that over the summer then I'm fucking all in and raring to go. Season ticket, shirts the lot. Someone who isn't associated with criminals please buy us. I miss supporting this club properly.

Tans... Out of interest why are you not keen on Ian Holloway. Could it be he is proving to be an achiever here? Perhaps a bit of the green eyed monster is showing ?

Lets face it, i doubt Morfuni even knew who Holloway was before he appointed him. I would imagine they shit themselves about Kennedy and it was a case of does anyone know anyone who might be interested and Bignot piped up with his reccomendation for his mate Holloway.
Kudos to IH though, got us resembling some form of a football team now. Still not keen on the person mind.
Why not out of interest?

It’s a pipe dream - you might get Holloway but you won’t get new owners. Morfuni will only sell when he’s got something to sell I.e some success.

Interesting....I actually love listening to him. In my opinion he is the most open and engaged manager we've ever had. He's virtually unfiltered and says all the things I want to hear (which is different to "telling people what they want to hear"...if that makes sense)...he comes out with some random stuff but that's just how he talks and I'm fine with it...he's pragmatic and positive and it's clearly rubbing off on the players. "Winning makes believers of us all"....Paul Brown - first owner and head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals...

I get that, just never been a fan of him. Got to give him credit for the way he has turned us around recently. Be interesting to see how it pans out against the better teams in the league in the next few weeks.

He'll never achieve success at this football club. He isn't capable of it. And a fluke league 2 promotion in a bad league, I do not consider success for this football club.

I enjoy listening to Holloway talk about football. He’s honest, logical, clearly sees a lot of things the same way the fans do & he clearly loves it. Never does he come across like an over rehearsed, media trained robot.
Still no interest in listening to him talk about ghosts though

Do you think Clem knew anything about Mark Kennedy before he gave him the job? Giving no credit for appointing IH but criticising for MK, doesn't quite make sense.

I said at the time...Holloway had just arrived at the Club and saw the ghost thing as a way of breaking the ice and lifting the spirits (pun intended) of the players and taking a bit of pressure off. With it being Holloway, a few media outlets got hold of it and it got more publicity than it warranted. I don't think he did it in a "Look at me, I'm quirky and hilarious" kind of way...Just my take on it...
