What I think has happened is he's telling someone we need a player of x, y and z qualities, he gets have a list back from someone then wants them in to look at.
They then come in "on trial"
Doesn't scream "I've got a plan".
Then again, if you could see them playing for their club they wouldn't be available.
If this was summer it would be fine. But we can all see this will probably take until the end of the window. Again.

Im not saying we shouldn't be looking at trialists but let's be real, we dont have a pot to piss in. The way Holloway said it, was as if 'dont expect much movement as we dont have any money'. Trialist come and go throughout the season that we arent told about, so to bring it up in the January transfer window is quite worrying. |
