How many season tickets did we sell this year compared to last year?

I don't think there was ever a confirmed number but the club claimed the numbers were basically the same once they took out all the freebies.

Which seemed to indicate over 1k in free season tickets were handed out the year before.

By freebies they mean a lot of the concession prices changing i expect.

I did roll my eyes when he started going into his 'haunted training ground' spiel in his post match interview and again when I saw he'd done the inevitable interview above with Talk Sport. But whilst I'm sure he enjoys cultivating this quirky image he's developed in the media over the years, I honestly think it's just a light hearted attempt to lift the spirits of the squad (sorry for the pun), to bring in a bit of humour (whether you think it's funny or not is another matter) and to relieve a little bit of pressure on the players which must be surely starting to build up. Hopefully it works, anything has to be worth a try...

True to a point but the results are already shit (largely not Holloway's fault) so there's so little lee way. If we lose to Morecambe after spending a week on national radio talking about ghosts, I will absolutely be fuming. Probably not fair, I'm sure it is in at least part an attempt to take the pressure off players, but it just makes us look stupid. And we're quite capable of doing that without the manager helping.

He really doesn't have ten games like a new manager in the summer does. We need results yesterday.
