Distraction will only last a little while if the results don't change.

Got my doubts big time. But I'm not sure even this lot would think being shit but having funny interviews would appease the masses for long

Have you seen some of supporters? They even clapped the owner the other week

Chances of this game being off? Freezing overnight for the next 2 nights. A lot warmer on Sat, but that may be too late.

.  Would have thought they’ve already thought of that and kept the pitch covered overnight.  Wouldn’t think they’d want this postponed with Morecambe’s current form.

Minimal I'd say, only down to -2 last night - so fine unless they "forgot" the covers again.

The weather for Saturday currently looks atrocious. May change of course but looks like a wet and scrappy battle is coming.

Yes keep the mini momentum going that we currently have.

Our recent form last 11 (most recent 1st)
A 2-2 D Accrington
A 1-3 L MKD
H 2-1 W Spurs EFLC
H 2-1 W Colchester FAC
H 1-1 D Gillingham
A 1-2 L Salford
H 1-2 L Doncaster
A 3-2 W Cheltenham
H 4-1 W B Rovers EFLC
H 0-0 D Harrogate
A 1-1 D Tranmere

So its 3 defeats in our last 11 games in all comps with 4 wins.

A realearly season (comparatively) 6 pointer already on Saturday.

Morecambe are easily beatable and if we win there will be a 6 point gap between us and them at the bottom of the table.

Thier recent run of form last 7 (Most recent 1st)
H 0-1 L Port Vale
H 1-2 L Carlisle EFLC
A 2-1 W Harrogate
A 2-0 W Worthing FAC
H 2-5 L Chesterfield
A 0-3 L Wimbledon
H 1-3 L MKD

So its 2 wins in the last 7 in all comps and 5 defeats.

In the league both teams are struggling badly though and on the day anything can happen.

They too are suffering with shit ownership too and have had protests themselves recently, fair play to them for having the balls to protest unlike our fans who seem to have just settled for shit.

https://www.beyondradio.co.uk/news/local-sport/morecambe-fc-thank-fans-for-inspirational-support-after-ownership-protest/

They have ex Town player Hallam Hope on their books, a striker/winger that never really won over many Swindon fans in his year with us.

They are managed by the Derek Adams who was linked very heavily with us in the Summer.

I expect Clem sold the covers to Cash Generators in March to aid cashflow and then buys them back in November when they are needed before going into hock again in March.

So a picture from Matt Povey on Twitter with the covers on the pitch, so hopefully they are on it

So the number of home fans has basically been falling since the opening day, with the one notable exception (following the big home win against Newport).

Will be interesting to see if that trend continues on Saturday

7,179   Walsall
6,427   Notts County
5,991   Newport County
6,395   Carlisle United
6,256   Harrogate Town
6,388   Doncaster R
6,220   Gillingham
