Agree with Berni, although the more it goes on the more I think it’s not Clem, just a front for someone else
Agree, I am still not completly sure that Power isn't way in the background acting as puppetmaster

We wouldn't have been here had Power still been in charge, I'm fairly confident of that. 5 Yes votes, viva la believer.

The 2 can separated you know? The vote is whether you are confident in Morfuni running the club, Power is an irrelevance. You don’t just vote yes because he isn’t Power!

At no stage did did I disclose that I'd voted yes off the back of Clem not being Power.

Spot on - I voted no but was pointing out the differences between Power and Clem, the simple fact is there was one important aspect that was better under Power, but little else. That also doesn't mean that I didn't want Power out either. The fact is that life under Power and Clem is one and the same, except for the inclusion of football people under Power. The biggest failure of Clem on the football side was allowing Ben Chorley to leave and not replacing him adequately.

So expand on what did make you say yes then…. Beyond pouring pints and first impressions I’m struggling to see any tangible reasons anyone would have confidence in this ownership.

Well, it looks like a resounding victory for common sense.

Looks like you've misinterpreted what I said, I didn't say I'd voted yes (or no for that matter), just pointed out that there were 5 yes votes.

Well, it looks like a resounding victory for common sense.
For context, I voted No. However 85 people voting “No” out of 4,000 ST holders (I know most won’t be on here) doesn’t form a vast majority of our fanbase. Even a vote of Trust members won’t reach a majority of our fanbase (of people that attend matches). I don’t know what the answer is, but the message needs to get to more of those fans before anything changes. I’m guessing it would need to be at a game

Don't trust a word of what that man says, even the bad stuff. It was a, pardon the pun, Power play. He was playing bluff with Standing and trying to wrangle control away from the legal proceedings. He fucked up, because rather than go for admin, he tried to sell the club to himself under Standings nose, but the crooks around him didn't stand for it and leveraged Clem into matching the bid, as was his legal right. The crooks kept their mits on the place, Clem got himself into trouble and Power/Curran got very angry, which ended with Zav taking a beating and cars being abandoned in Switzerland. We didn't so much change ownership, as simply squeeze out the one taking more than than the others behind their backs.

Anyone who voted "Yes" would probably come under pressure to justify their vote. On this Forum at least. Beyond a perfectly reasonable - but not quite logical - "fear that the alternative could turn out even worse", I'd appreciate someone with confidence in Clem poking their head above the parapet and arguing their corner. Or just explaining it's a hunch etc. Have to be interested in different opinions to my own.
Personally, I'm not watching Town quite as much these days due to being very low about STFC on and off pitch. I'm not boycotting as such and will be attending tomorrow without really knowing why. Neither have I resigned from the Trust although I have put my views to them. But I'm not doing anything to bring about change. One of the Apathetics, I s'pose.
Bravo to those who are more active, tbf.
