This weird ‘not celebrating a goal’ thing is something I’m experiencing too. I remember frantically refreshing the match day page on occasions when I couldn’t go to the game and getting all excited when I saw ‘GET INNNNNNN’.
Now it’s ‘Well I’ll be damned, we scored’ and then get back to whatever else I was doing.
For me, I enjoyed it but then was very quickly followed by an exclamation of "That's what happens when you fucking shoot". To then hear the manager say that he was pleased we didn't shoot on sight, when the one time we did, we scored, drove me to spoons.

Glatzel had a nasty bang on the head, requiring bandaging to deal with a cut. He may have been concussed and was pulled after a few minutes after being patched up. Sobowale has been criticized for not going outside and typically turning back and inside (a la Shade). So, presumably, Sobowale wasn't crossing sufficiently.
Sobowale is a right back, and has looked pretty decent when played there and is one of the few to run past people, and looks far better than King in that position. As a left back he can do a decent defensive job, as hid did admirably against Jones last week but he's not going to provide width and put left footed crosses in. He will play like any other right footed player as an inverted left back. Kennedy is just making excuses for his own decisions. Cain is not a LWB, OB4 is not a box to box midfielder, Glatzel is not a sub in Div 4. Stop playing people out of position and find a way of making the team better than the sum of its parts. If you can't do that as a manager then you are a waste of a wage.

Fucking woeful.
Pissed away an opportunity to get a win....wtf was Smith thinking?
Lad in the sticks just did the basics, they could of got a bloke from the stands to go in goal. We caused zero pressure on them.
Halftime talk? Any of us could of given that.
Pepper the goal with crosses, through balls and shots..but instead....
Just fucking woeful and Kennedy bigging it up just rubbed salt into the festering wounds! Hes now officially getting on my tits!
I leapt up when we scored but i did feel sorry for the keeper and their defenders.

Sadly I'm not sure it matters who we have up top, even Kane or Haarland would probably struggle in this team. No-one looks like scoring, 3 goals in 5 league games. all from outside the box including Wrights wonder goal and Butterworths 35 yard punt today. We've created very little for the strikers and our set pieces are still woeful. All I want to see is a plan and, at the moment, there just doesn't appear to be one.

This was bizarre. It makes no sense at all. I’m really starting to wonder about Kennedy.

Any idea the extent of the Clarke and Hall injuries?
We all expected they’d break down at some point

The only brightness that may develop from this will be smith suspended for likely 5 games (similar to khan last year I expect they’ll upgrade it to 5). Glatzel I guess will be out for at least two due to concussion protocols. Surely Ameen now has to start. This will be the true test of Kennedy. If he picks Drinnan (who offers nothing) then all hope is lost for Kennedy if he is brave and goes Ameen then he will take a step up in my estimation.
Only bright spark from yesterday was Cox but they don’t look like they have a plan or strategy at all. So much for his coaching CV.

I have a suspicion that Glatzel's substitution was at least in part tactically motivated ie get Drinan on & while the guidelines may well be followed in the week, wouldn't be surprised to see him back in the squad for Saturday assuming that the cut isn't too serious.

Why are we wasting our time with the goalkeeper situation?
It's painfully obvious Barden has been bought in to be #1. So just bloody start him already.
I don't buy into this whole competition thing. You got a new keeper because you don't think our current one is good enough.
Own it.

Barden’s probably been bought in as a target man.
I expect to see him up top in Smiths absence…

Kennedy said Clarke’s calf ‘didn’t feel right’ so he came off as a precaution. Hall, he wasn’t so sure. Quad injury.

Kennedy said it was at the insistence of the physio. Said it was part of concussion protocol and that player safety paramount.

I didn't feel nothing, I felt absolutely furious. First time we tried a long shot, sixty minutes after an outfield player went in goal. Absolute twats.
I agree totally.
