I know we don't want to win this cup, it's pointless, so I'm not that fussed at the result.
What I have seen so far this season is a Meh team, middling ability wise, there is some effort there, but really lacking in quality going forward and a midfield that seems unable or unwilling to track people, no matter who plays there.
Their second goal was just so poor - two players go off to mark the corner flag! It's not like he had a Messi drop of the shoulder in him, he just went the other way and our two kept trotting.
Overall we seem to be short of something. My hope is the general shitness level of our players is not as bad as it was when we had the like of Ward, or Shade as the options. Our poor players at least seem semi competent, so we should be able to organise a few wins out of them, surely?

Yeap. Lost to Histon 1-0 on the Saturday, then four days later lost to Brighton 2-0 EFL trophy area quarter final. He was sacked on the Thursday Morning.  |

Yeah that's about the long and short of it. Possibly additionally a worry that we got worse when we brought on five first team players too. |
