Well, that was a bit shit. Cotterill looks completely lost.

Cotterill looks crap.

How on earth Glatzel and Khan aren’t in this team is embarrassing.

HT. Thought Chesterfield looked a decent side in the first 20 minutes but the game drifted more into us just making stupid errors and looking really disjointed, thankfully only being punished the once. A genuinely decent side would have ripped us apart. Still time I suppose!

Thank god that is over.

It’s been extremely shite. We are lucky is only 1.

We’ve got a team of giants and instead of swinging in a free kick we try to take it short between 3 players within a 2 yard radius and still manage to give it away.

The deep QB midfield isn’t working either because you’ve got to be Paul bloody Scholes or Glenn Hoddle to do it…

Think we look okay at the back overall.

Cotterill looks terrible. Drop Ofoborh back and take Cotterill off for Glatzel.

Well. What can you say after that?

How long until the season’s over?

If we are going to hoof it all the time we need precision kicks from the keeper onto Smith’s head.

Smith is so immobile! Crikey! We need someone who can run off him.

Not impressed with the midfield.

Defence looks better.

Drinan is too small to be big and too big to be small. Not sure he’s been awake this half.

I just don’t see what we’re trying to do at the moment. I’ve no issue if the plan is to hoof it to Smith, but Drinan is miles away from him and the nearest player seems to be Ofobohr?!? He’s not supposed to be there is he?!

As I explained post Wycombe. Yea he is supposed to be there. We plat two eights, clarke and ofoborh and they support the strikers. Which is why we still need players there because it's not ofoborhs position.

Cotterill had a tough start, but any ball player in this team will because he has no options at all. He will be fine with time.

Very poor start, very dull. Guess we need to give this new group time to gel together.

That was 45 minutes of absolute shite.  Can’t put it any other way tbh.

Hall was lucky to get away with giving away a penalty
Freckleton has been so sloppy giving the ball away

At least Longelo has tried to get things going shame the others haven’t turned up.

What neck aches watching us hoof the ball

I'm not sure Clarke and Oforborh are playing the same position though, Clarke seems much closer to Cotterill. Maybe it's just him being more mobile, but it's almost like a DM CM AM midfield.

Umm, that was Flitcorft bad.  Ofoborh is never going to be an 8, he can't pass and has a pretty heavy touch and takes about 5 mins to warm-up when breaking into a sprint.  Leave him blocking the centre of the pitch, I can't see him being much use elsewhere.  Opposite for Cotterill, I assume he has paid us to get a slot?  That's too harsh, but he has to learn very quickly he cannot take as long as he does on the ball.  At least get him away from our defenders if we have to play him.

Overall we only have a single weapon going forward and it's Smith in the box.  I struggle to see how we will use him though as we do not get into good crossing positions.  So far he has cut a frustrated figure having to dodge the hail coming out of the skies, also known as our through balls.

I believe I was told I am negative - there is a reason!  Please tell me they were better than this in the pre season games and it just needs to click?  If our team looked good on paper, I have to assume it was soggy?
